Martin Stone - Herbalist, Author, Researcher

Martin Stone has been involved for almost 25 years in the health industry at all levels including practitioner, teacher, lecturer, formulator and author/ researcher. Martin has written for many companies including Sprouting Health, Naka, Nu-Life, Pro-Ma Sysytems, Amazing Herbs, Aviva and three publishers including Sound Concepts, Woodland Publishing and Author House.
He has thousands of books in print including Herbs Explained and The key to Natural Arthritis Treatment with over 200,000 copies in circulation and has just finished co-authoring a book with Dr. Udo Erasmus.
Starting with a degree in cell biology, Martin was invited to be part of the staff at Wild Rose Wholistic Clinic and The Wild Rose College of Natural Healing, one of Canada’s premier natural health education centers where he subsequently taught herbalism for several years, developed a local practice and created, wrote and presented a local radio show, The Health Minute, aired throughout Alberta, British Columbia and the Northern United States. He was a member of the Premiers Commission on the future of Health Care in Alberta and was a member of the Canadian Herbal Practitioners Association. He lives in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains in southern Alberta with his lovely wife Lynda, where he enjoys fly fishing and camping.
